What if Friday to Monday two seconds felt exactly the same without any midnight adrenaline, yet, we didn't care for Mr. Clock’s highlight What if Monday made the mundane visit always a routine, yet surprising guest and we just said I love you like a Caribbean mother, "did you eat yet?" What if our happiness wasn’t fickle like a moody weather, changing with sudden temperature drops circumstances, and happenstance barely surviving the 'case of the Mondays' What if we could be joyful everyday of the week even on days we hope never came where perspective could rescue our time, gloomy weather could invite rest What if there was value in being alone satisfied by simply sitting in stillness, where slowing down and experiences were not at a war for control? What if our brain has actually more space, just in a little unoccupied corner, as anger and frustration try to take over could we host the invited and uninvited guest? What if Monday came over fast as expected relaxing unbothered on your sofa, with no set check-out time what would you do? What if joy ...was there under your sofa blanket? What if your contentment ...wasn't circumstantial? What if peace ...became your permanent roommate? What if all three extended their stay...even on Mondays?
Heart Call:
God cares about your boring days. Because there’s so much purpose waiting for you there.
Try reflecting:
How you can invite Him into the days you hate… when cooking, doing the dishes, driving to work?
Is there space in your day for stillness—or are you always hosting stress and hurry instead?
(p.s. it’ll be different for each of us, there’re no perfect formula).
