They shall be known by their fruits.
fruits do tell
I had a citronelle in my backyard that grew mangoes one day honestly biologically it just didn't make sense how could a plant bear fruit that were not grown in its roots how could a seed sprout something that didn't come from its trunk They shall be known by their fruits some words echoing beneath the smooth pearl like skin that keep its seed hidden and pure fruits they say tell you about the tree that bears it turns out The Gardener prunes in love and truth because unless He does so how could the tree grow its true fruit how could the weeds not suffocate the harvest Indeed surely They shall be known by their fruits. citronnelle (French): lemongrass
Heart Call:
Fruit matters. We water our soil by reading our Bible and spending time with God.
John 15:4–5 (NIV)
“Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine… apart from me you can do nothing.”
Matthew 7:16 (NIV)
“By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?”
Matthew 7:20 (NIV)
“Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.”
How do you make time for reading your Bible and intentional time with God throughout your week?
God is the master gardener of our lives. So what rhythms help you return to Him — even through your busy week?
