Living with no secrets
new days, same demons
the lies he likes to plant on our doorsteps never change now I can recognize them a thousand feet in the distance they look very much like yesterday's new days but really the same demons you're the only one keep your house in order they're just too raw to let another soul hear their essence to even be confessed out loud better keep them to yourself so your house always looks in order but who is he to even define what's really order? daring to even say the word order with his chaotic lips the one that know nothing but lies that come to kill, steal, and destroy all life under I just was like say what you want but don't even think you're stepping close because you clearly need another reminder that my lips over here got power and my tongue these days got a life of its own this house was healed sealed with His word and delivered with confession to a sister no corners no longer to keep even one small secret hidden it made a decision to live with no secrets.
Heart Call:
We can fight back with God’s word and confession to some trusted people. I’m forever grateful to sisters who shown up for me.
So here what you read is never a space I process in real time. Because I think confession and specifics of your life can't be entrusted to everyone. Never out of pride really. But out of discernment.
Now my mentor, a wiser woman. I call her to confess about everything and it’s the best thing really. That her wisdom and walk with Jesus is a blessing in my life.
The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit. (Proverbs 12:8)
Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. (James 5:16)
Do you have one mentor in your life that you can consistently reach out
(monthly, weekly) to share what you’re going through?
If you don't have one yet like me, how can you actively pursue a relationship with one this season? (suggestion: think of women in their forties or older who you admire their walk with Jesus. The same gender is best.)
