a love that knows (over and over again)
a love that knows
I sat in that chair again I couldn't help but stare into the distance in that moment my senses were just in awe of your presence and it couldn't help but sing the same melody again on how your love keeps finding me over and over again on how your wholeness keeps intertwining with mine over and over again gratitude just brings rivers to my eyes as sit there and linger about all you did back then about all you done for me and it's amazing really how you're such a gentleman you never once invaded my space without asking you always said darling do you want to surrender here and there and every time… I said yes you did something surreal something I couldn't see from where I was sitting every time I laid down my preferences and pride at your feet your love met me there over and over again if I spend my whole life recounting all of the ways you held me close my lifetime wouldn't suffice if I go to the depths of the earth to find how much you love me my lungs wouldn't hold on over and over again I want to take the narrow road with you over and over again I want to love you with every breath I've got over and over again that’s just four words I never want to forget you've always been close.
Heart Call:
Transformation is rarely a big show. It follows the quiet patterns of saying yes — over and over again. It looks like choosing the narrow road. It looks like surrendering every area of your life to Him. Because the reality is He wants to give you abundant life here on earth… to bless not just you but those around you too.
“Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter though it. For the gate is narrow and the way is constricted that leads to life, and there few who find it”—Matthew 7:13–14 (NASB 2020)
So let me ask you friend:
where in your life did you choose the narrow road, and how did God’s love meet you there?
and where in your life right now is He gently nudging you to take it again?
